I’m the founder of Brave New Money. Nearly ten years ago, I discovered a passion for personal finance and investing. Last year, I decided to pursue certification in financial advice. As of June 2024, I’m halfway through obtaining my full qualification (QFA) and am now certified in Pensions and Investments.

Over the years, I’ve noticed that women frequently say they lack knowledge or confidence around finance. I realised that engaging women in topics related to money and wealth-building can increase their knowledge and confidence in these areas. In turn, it can have a transformative impact on their lives and their communities. This was evident in myself and the women closest to me. So, I decided to build a community that promotes financial literacy, fosters financial confidence, and helps women build long-lasting wealth to improve their lives and the lives of others.

To me, wealth is not a number. It’s best described by things that are harder to measure, such as stability, independence, and optionality. You can’t put a price on those.
